Software-based deletion
Working hard drives and SSDs are overwritten multiple times with certified erasure software in line with international standards (e.g. NIST 800-88, BSI, DoD). This allows the hardware to be reused in an environmentally friendly way while the data is destroyed beyond recovery.
Certificate & proof
Especially important for B2B customers: on request, we document the erasure process for every individual serial number and issue you a legally valid deletion certificate for your compliance records.
Defective storage media
Storage media that can no longer be addressed by software are physically destroyed (shredded) to rule out any future access to the data.
