Servers with RAM, single units or whole stock
We are interested in rack and tower servers with RAM and CPUs installed. Which memory generation is fitted depends on the model.
What we are looking for
- Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Lenovo ThinkSystem, Supermicro, Fujitsu and Cisco UCS
- Servers with ECC RAM and CPUs installed
- Dell R630, R730, R640, R740 and HPE Gen9 and Gen10 (all DDR4)
- Newer generations such as Dell R660, R760 or HPE Gen11 that can use DDR5
- Pulled components such as RAM, CPUs, controllers and power supplies
- Servers without drives or with drives removed

What affects value
We deliberately do not quote flat prices. These points decide how an offer turns out:
- Family and generation
- Model line and generation determine whether DDR3, DDR4 or DDR5 is fitted. Not every recent server uses DDR5.
- Configuration
- CPU, amount and type of RAM, controllers, network cards and power supplies.
- Completeness
- Rails, caddies, bezels and power supplies where present.
- Condition and test status
- Known faults, age, visible damage. A test is not required.
- Quantity
- Several identical systems can be assessed together.
- Location and transport
- Weight and access influence the effort and are agreed in advance.
DDR4, DDR5 or ECC: which RAM are you selling?
A RAM buyback depends on the exact module, not just its capacity. A manufacturer part number or a clear label photo helps identify different memory types.
- DDR3, DDR4 and DDR5
- These memory generations are not interchangeable. Include DDR3/PC3, DDR4/PC4 or DDR5/PC5 exactly as shown on the label.
- DIMM or SO-DIMM
- DIMMs commonly appear in desktops and servers; SO-DIMMs in laptops and compact systems. The physical format alone does not identify ECC support.
- ECC, UDIMM and RDIMM
- ECC means error correction; Registered or RDIMM describes a registered design. They are not synonyms: unbuffered ECC also exists. List UDIMMs and RDIMMs separately.
- Capacity and speed
- Example: 32 GB per module, DDR4-3200, manufacturer and part number, 24 identical modules, tested or untested. MT/s describes the data rate; the exact part number is still essential.
Offer business or server RAM in bulk
Group the inventory by part number and quantity. After a server upgrade, you can offer removed memory and complete servers together. Larger quantities receive an individual offer for the lot, not a universal price per module.
What is used RAM worth?
We do not publish prices: the value of your inventory is assessed individually. Retail prices and general memory-market reports are not a buyback quote for your inventory. If the model is missing or you have a larger lot, send label photos or an inventory for a non-binding offer.
How to submit your stock
Photos and an approximate quantity are enough to start. The more precise the details, the more concrete the offer.

Timing and amounts depend on the case and are set out in the offer.
Data carriers and privacy
RAM modules do not store files persistently. For memory alone the data question does not arise.
Hard drives and SSDs in servers, PCs or laptops can be removed and kept, erased by you before transfer, or handed over by agreement. We record this before transport.
We do not promise certified data erasure. If you need a specific procedure or proof, we clarify beforehand whether that is possible.
What we are not aiming to buy
We look for reusable hardware with market value. Empty racks and cabinets, cable collections and material that could only be recovered by weight are not our buying target. Not every request leads to an offer.

What details do you need for a first assessment?
Manufacturer, model, quantity, installed CPU and RAM and photos are enough. Service tags, drives and test status are optional extras.
Are you especially interested in servers with RAM installed?
Yes, well-populated servers with common RAM configurations are of particular interest. Value still depends on generation, module type, completeness and condition.
What applies to hard drives and SSDs in the server?
You can remove and keep the drives, offer the server with drives, or erase the data yourself before handover. We agree this in writing beforehand and do not promise certified erasure.
Do you buy empty racks or cabinets?
No, empty racks and server cabinets are not what we aim to buy. Accessories can be discussed as part of a server lot.
How does transport work for heavy servers?
Transport is agreed individually after you accept the offer, depending on quantity, location and access. There is no blanket free pickup.
