Ship your hardware safely
Safe transport is crucial so we can purchase your hardware at the agreed price.
PCs and laptops
- Use a sturdy, double-walled box that is at least 5 cm larger than the device.
- Cushion the device generously on all sides (bubble wrap, crumpled kraft paper).
- The device must not move around inside the box.
- For PCs with very large graphics cards, we recommend removing the GPU and packing it separately with padding to prevent the PCIe slot from being torn off.
Components (CPU, RAM, GPU)
- Always use antistatic bags (ESD packaging) or the original plastic clamshells.
- Processors (CPU): Pay particular attention to the pins on AMD CPUs or the contact pads on Intel CPUs. The safest option is the original plastic tray.
- Memory (RAM): Do not stack modules loosely on top of each other, as SMD components can break off. Wrap RAM individually in antistatic film or ship it in RAM trays.
- Here too, use a sturdy outer box, not an unprotected envelope.
Important notes
Damage caused by improper packaging is the sender's responsibility and reduces the payout value.
Always ship parcels with tracking (registered / tracked mail) via a reliable carrier so you are insured in case of loss.
